One of the reasons I personally have pursued coaching is follow my passions. One of my passions is to make a difference in the lives of others around me. It's the way I'm wired. We all are wired different ways, but I believe at the end of the day, most of us want to leave a legacy that will survive us.
I believe that James Njuguna did just that. I met James almost three years ago in Kenya. James love for others showed constantly, and I saw it in full force on his Facebook page yesterday. James had his life tragically cut short by some thugs this past weekend outside his home in Nairobi. They didn't take money, just his life. A selfish act by individuals with no meaning or purpose in their own lives.
At the time of his death, James and his wife Grace were running orphanages for approximately 100 of the many children left orphans by the senseless violence in Kenya. I'm glad he was living his life fully and I've recorded a tribute to James. Check it out by clicking on the image and then reflect on what you're doing. Are you leaving a legacy?
